September....and thinking about new things

It is that time of year again, I do like September, it feels as good a time as any to start something new and better still, learn something new.  The problem for me is always knowing what to start with...I love learning and there are so many things to choose from.

I've picked up this oil painting again, after a couple of months of just linoprinting.  It is lovely to have a bit of time painting, not something I manage often and always enjoy when I do.

This is the start place, it will definitely change and I look forward to keeping going over the next few weeks.

Over the course of the day, while I was painting in my studio, the light changed, it was lovely to see how the sun spread out over the landscape.
