Almost half way...

My husband was saying a couple of days ago that we are almost half way through 2024...while we've been busy, somehow the year is passing by without my noticing.

We moved house at the beginning of the year, which saw me having to say goodbye to my lovely little studio, somehow that small space made for some real productivity.  I have a new space, but it is yet to be organised and although I've made good headway, I'm not up and running yet.  So much for being experimental this year, instead it feels like being able to paint or use my press is a long way off.

The last two days I've been out in the garden sketching, enjoying the sunshine after working hard weeding and planting seeds.

I feel the need to begin something  now so that when I have the studio set out as I want it, I won't be stuck in a rut of uncreativity.  So, hopefully the forced behaviour will become good habit in time.

Watch this space...despite the first half of the year almost passing me by, I will not let the second half go the same way!
