2023 - and all change

As a family, we have had two years of change and just when I think things are beginning to settle, there has been another about turn.

'Dappled'  

I began a PGCE (Primary) last September in Swansea and have to say although it was very stressful and a huge workload, it was a good challenge and felt positive.  Unfortunately, it soon became clear that losing a wage was not sustainable.

Thankfully, I quickly picked up a new job working in a primary school and just as an added bonus, I now have some free time to paint and print....what could be better!

Hopefully new things on the horizon!  I do love a new year!!

Dappled is a new acrylic on canvas 20cmx20cm painting.  It is a reminder of a warm summer's day walking underneath the welcome shade of trees.  I can remember the feeling of calm I felt on that day.... a little different from my recent paintings, but a really interesting study to do thinking about colours and light.
