Wednesday work

Last Wednesday was just as I had hoped, and I had a glimpse of what future Wednesdays could look like. The day started off with a mini-workshop for a student, a whistle stop tour of printmaking - lino, collagraph and finishing off with some monoprints. Some lovely results from a couple of hours of play, a handful of orginal artworks and hopefully a new found love for all things printy! The second part of the day was making the final touches, and delivering these educational cards. The cards were designed as teaching resources digitally manipulating my watercolour paintings. These matching cards have led to a commision to make some similar cards featuring flowers, leaves and shells. So small steps towards what I am aiming for, now onwards and upwards.
