New year...new things
I was just reading back over what I had written last, and sure enough there has been some painting with oils....so I'm glad I've been doing that. My latest two pieces of work, have had a very strong theme in fact....a small project for work has left me with one thing on my mind. Haverfordwest's new bridge has proven to cause quite a divide, when surely it should be joining things together and creating connection. I feel the 'Instagrammable Bridge' is rather lovely, the colours, the form, the lighting...and caught in print, you can really feel the strong sense of design, and how it fits into its environment. This new linoprint is probably now finished, a variable edition of around eight, soon to be for sale, but also one being offered as a competition prize.
